Eli W. Mansour, an attorney with Luce Forward and founder of the firm’s aviation practice area, has been recognized by San Diego Metropolitan magazine as one of San Diego’s “40 under Forty.”
The annual “40 under Forty” list honors San Diego’s young business and civic leaders for their professional success and community involvement. Each honoree is profiled in the September issue of the magazine.
Mansour, a commercial licensed pilot and transactional intellectual property attorney, worked with Luce Forward’s management last year to form an aviation practice area after noticing a void in aviation-related legal services in San Diego. Luce Forward attorneys now work closely with a broad spectrum of commercial, corporate and general aviation clients.
In his practice, Mansour advises certificated carriers and commercial operators, corporate flight departments and individuals seeking to acquire, lease or share in the use of aircraft, as well as aviation management companies, charter companies and fractional ownership programs. He also represents clients in sales and acquisitions involving fixed base operators. Additionally, Mansour’s work focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on development, protection and licensing of technology and intellectual property.
A 1992 graduate of George Washington’s law school, Mansour is active in the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Telecom Council, San Diego Software Industry Council, the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, the National Business Aviation Association and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
He was honored as one of San Diego Metropolitan’s “40 under Forty” at a luncheon hosted by the publication on September 16.
