The Evergreen Aviation Museum, home of the famous Spruce Goose, hosted the Oregon Vintage Festival over Labor Day weekend. Located in the heart of Oregon’s wine country, and nestled in the museum’s oak grove, the three-day outdoor festival showcased the Northwest’s finest wine, beer, food, entertainment, art, aircraft and automobiles.

Guests enjoyed tethered hot air balloon rides, helicopter tours of Yamhill Valley’s wine country, and the sounds of Portland-area musicians including Beadhead, Linda Hornbuckle and the David Cooley Band. They also sampled regional wine and beer from vendors including Panther Creek Cellars, Amity Vineyards, Coleman Vineyards, Anne Amie, DePonte Cellars and Deschutes Brewery, and specialty summer cuisine from restaurants around the region.

Proceeds from the event benefit Henderson House and the McMinnville Athletic Club. Victims of domestic and sexual violence can seek safe and confidential services, including shelter, at Henderson House located in Yamhill County. The McMinnville Athletic Club works to teach lifelong lessons of teamwork and self-discipline, and facilitate the physical and emotional development of the community’s young people.
