The all new Maguire Aviation was the perfect venue for the 1,200 plus guests that attended the Porsche Business Aircraft & Jet Preview at Van Nuys Airport (VNY). It was a great show of advanced aircraft and vehicles.
A wide variety of business jets on display included an Embraer Legacy 600; Cessna Citation X, CJ2+ and Mustang; Hawker Beechcraft Premier 1A; Eclipse 500; Sino Swearingen SJ30-2; and L-39. Business turboprops featured at the show were the Piaggio Avanti II, Cessna Caravan, Beechcraft King Air, Pilatus PC-12, Socata TBM 850 and Epic LT. Piston-powered aircraft exhibited included the Diamond DA42 Twin Star and DA40; two Columbia 350s; Mooney Ovation 2 GX; Cirrus Design SR20 and SR22; Cessna Turbo Skyland and the only flying, fully restored TWA DC-2.
The Auto Gallery showcased a full line of new and previously owned Porsche vehicles, including a 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo convertible.
With the sales of general aviation aircraft setting new records, it’s apparent that buyers are looking for new technology and high performance aircraft and cars such as those exhibited at the preview.
