At the Annual FAA Aviation Safety Counselor Awards Banquet, held at the DoubleTree Hotel on March 11, the Denver Flight Standards District Office of the Federal Aviation Association presented awards to several Colorado aviators.

Dr. C. Bart Whitehouse received the organization’s Golden Eagle Award. William D. Baker, Lawrence Bartlett, William L. Bredar and Talmadge E. Miller were presented the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award.

Two Northwest Mountain region award winners were also recognized. John Robert Scott was named Aviation Safety Counselor of the Year and Patrick Davis was named Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year.
