Airport Journals recently named Leigh Sides associate publisher for the Dallas/Ft. Worth Aviation & Business Journal. Sides has a diverse background including sales and marketing, publishing, business ownership and commercial appraisal.
Leigh Sides was recently named associate publisher for the Dallas/Ft. Worth Aviation & Business Journal.
As associate publisher, Sides will oversee distribution, work with sales associates to increase sales and assist with recruiting and training of new sales representatives. Her focus will also be on the coordination of the Saab Dallas Business Aircraft & Jet Preview. This year’s event will be in November and will be hosted by Business Jet Center located at Dallas Love Field.
“I look forward to the challenges of my new position and the many opportunities to further develop the Journal as the source of communication and business development for the general aviation community in Dallas, Ft. Worth and the surrounding areas,” said Sides.
Sides is a graduate of Texas A & M University with degrees in English and history. She resides in Flower Mound, Texas, with her husband, a commercial airline pilot based in Dallas and a former military attack helicopter pilot, and their three daughters.
