U.S. Senator Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) visited Aviation Technology Group headquarters for the first time on March 23.
Allard flew ATG’s flight simulator and was given a company briefing. The Javelin prototype taxied in for the occasion, allowing the senator to get a close-up view of the aircraft.
Allard took time for photographs with ATG Chairman George Bye and had a meet-and-greet with ATG employees. Allard is an advocate of general aviation in Colorado and visited ATG to show support of aircraft businesses in Colorado. ATG’s headquarters are at Centennial Airport, with research and manufacturing facilities at Front Range Airport. In the next two years, ATG expects to bring an additional 250 jobs to Colorado.
