Centennial Airport’s 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was held at Meridian Golf Course on September 18. The Centennial Airport Lion’ Club produces the event, with many gracious volunteers from the airport community.
The tournament nets approximately $35,000 a year for the Lion’s Club. The money is distributed throughout the community to charities including Flight for Life, Airlife, the Salvation Army, the Lion’s Eye Bank and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The first place team of Dassault Falcon Jet won $100 each and a plaque. Haggan Aviation, the second place team, had won the last two years.
